There were 3 successful Community Chest funding forms in November. The DG2 Cafe applied for funding to purchase a PA system which will be used to play music at events in the café and to develop the services they currently offer to external bookings in the café space. If you would like to run an event at the café then please get in touch with Rab on 01387 279279. The Community Connectors applied for the costs associated with a study visit to community gardens and allotment sites in the area. Photo below! The people involved are part of the Eco theme group who meet regularly and are developing opportunities for allotments, community gardens and outdoor learning. Lochside Baton Twirlers applied for funding to purchase new training outfits to encourage participants to have confidence in themselves.
