There were 4 successful Community Chest funding forms recently which we'd love to tell you about.

The Learners Together network which is run out of the North West Resource centre applied for funding to start a new computer class to encourage people to become more comfortable in a ever increasing digital world. The classes took part in Lochside Social Club and provided a basic introduction to IT.

The Stove Network applied for the costs associated with taking a pop up  pavilion space to Lochside and Lincluden as part of the Scottish Festival of Architecture.

Dumfries North West church applied for the costs associated with a study visit to The Carrick Centre in Maybole which is a fantastic centre run by the community. More information about the Carrick Centre here: http://www.carrickcentre.co.uk/

Shed Therapy applied for funding to run two unique workshops in Lochside and Lincluden to introduce people to the work that they do - more information about their work here: http://www.shedtherapy.com/

If you would like to apply for the Community Chest then please download the form here and send us your application. If you would like a printed version of the form then please let us know and get in contact with us.
