Next Steps
This application is being submitted by the Glentrool Park Development Group, led by the YMCA. It comprises representatives from local groups including DGHP, Tenants and Residents Association, Friends of Glentrool, #LIFT, D+G Council, Lochside and Woodlands Community Council and Lochside Community Association.
As part of Stage 1 they conducted a wide ranging and far reaching consultation and will now be undertaking a follow up with neighbours and users of the park, asking what they think of the plans drawn up after the first stage. This will be carried out in February and March 2018.
Alongside this, the group will be asking a number of companies to tender to do the work required. This includes preparation and surveys. The bids will be looked by a panel, and evaluated in a fair and transparent way.
We anticipate submitting the bid in May 2018.
